Concepts - MCF APIs

Vehicle Checks introduces several core concepts:

Concept	Description
`Vehicles`	Both tracked vehicles (with a telematics device) and untracked vehicles (imported purely for compliance purposes).
`Templates`	Configurable checklists defining what drivers must inspect, by vehicle type (e.g. HGV, trailer, LCV) or operation (e.g. daily, onboarding).
`Checks`	Timestamped records of driver completed inspection checklists per vehicle.
`Check items`	Individual inspection points within a checklist.
`Check result`	Overall status of an inspection (e.g. Pass, Fail, Not Checked, Moved Without Check).
`Defects`	Faults raised against check items, including photos, notes, and roadworthiness status.
`Repair status`	The status of each failed check item (a defect). Each can be monitored independently through to completion (e.g. Open, Deferred, Repaired, Closed).
`Repair lifecycle`	The workflow used by managers to track defects from open, to deferred, to closed.

All of these objects are exposed via the Vehicle Checks API, allowing external systems to integrate with inspection data, defect status, and compliance reporting.
