To make entering dates more user-friendly, dates can be sent as strings instead of JSON dates.  The accepted string date format is a subset of ISO 8601.  The following two date formats are supported:

YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss

Where:
  • YYYY: four digits for year (2014).
  • MM: two digits for month (01 to 12, 01 = January).
  • DD: two digits for day of month (01 to 31).
  • hh: two digits for hours (00 to 23).
  • mm: two digits for minutes (00 to 59).
  • ss: two digits for seconds (00 to 59).
The date and time format for Live Position Latest, Vehicle Journey Latest, and Driver Journey Latest includes milliseconds, therefore the date/time format is as follows:

YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.ms

Where:
  • As YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss
  • ms: three digits for milliseconds (000 to 999).
